Deirdre O’Brien to replace Angela Ahrendts as Apple’s senior vice president of Retail

Apple announced on Wednesday that Angela Ahrendts, its senior vice president of Retail, will leave in April after she decided to look for “new personal and professional pursuits”. Apple’s current “Vice President of People” Deirdre O’Brien will take over the position, and she will serve as senior vice president of both the Retail and People, reporting directly to CEO Tim Cook.
