According to fresh reports this evening from both Bloomberg and 9to5Mac, Apple is be preparing to launch the new, larger 16-inch variant of their MacBook Pro, as soon as tomorrow. Here’s everything you need to know.

According to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman, “Apple plans to debut a new MacBook Pro laptop with a larger screen and revamped keyboard as soon as Wednesday, according to people familiar with the situation.”

Gurman believes the 16-inch MacBook Pro will replace the 15-inch model in the lineup. According to numerous reports and images found in Catalina, the 16-inch MacBook Pro will essentially keep the same foot-print of the 15-inch model, just smaller bezels.

Gurman announced that the 16-inch MacBook Pro will be priced at $2,399, or the same price of the current base-line 15-inch MacBook Pro. “The new laptop will cost about the same and is expected to go on sale this week,” Gurman reports, citing people familiar with the situation.

The larger display size will benefit video and photo editors, gamers and software developers.

It’s also believed the 16-inch model will feature a revised keyboard, and TouchBar. “the Touch ID button is separated from the rest of the Touch Bar. This also suggests that the 16-inch MacBook Pro will have a real escape key, rather than a software one,” said 9to5Mac.

Gurman closes the report announcing that Apple plans to release the Mac Pro sometime in December.
