In a surprise announcement, Apple has announced that it’ll be bundling its Apple Music for Students subscription with Apple TV Plus for just $4.99/month. This will allow student subscribers to access the service at no additional charge. Here’s everything you need to know.

Apple has rarely ever offered any bundling options, especially if it means lowering the price of a product or service. But, in a surprise announcement on ‘Dickinson’ star Hailee Steinfeld’s Instagram page, the company announced it’ll bundle both services for students for the same cost as Apple Music for Students.

Not much information has been released, but we don’t expect Family Sharing to be an option for those subscribers on this plan.

Apple TV Plus is set to launch on November 1st across Apple TV, Mac, iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone. Subscribers will receive a 7-day free trial, then $4.99/month afterward. For customers who have recently purchased a new device, they’ll receive Apple TV Plus for a year, free.

We will update this article as more information is released.
