Lately, multiple reports on the slowdown on iPhone sales had led Apple’s share price dropped to some extent, and even almost lost the title of the most valuable company. Probably to appease investor confidence, Greg Joswiak, Senior Vice President of Apple’s Product Marketing, sat down for an interview with CNET and made the claim that the iPhone XR has been Apple’s best-selling iPhone every day since its launch.
However, the executive did not disclose how many iPhone XR units they have sold since Apple announced in its latest earnings report that it will no longer issue specific sales unit for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Although it can explain the status of iPhone XR in this year’s lineup, you can’t compare it with last year’s iPhone X device.
In addition, Joskwiak also revealed that Apple will continue to support World AIDS Day this year. Apple will donate $1 for each purchase made through Apple Pay in an Apple store, online store, or Apple Store app that day. Also, the logo of Apple’s retails stores will turn into the Red on World AIDS Day, which is on December 1st.
