Apple launched three new products at its ‘Hardware Event’ held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Apple has launched new and updated versions of the iPad Pro and here is all you need to know about it.
The iPad Pro:
The highlight of today’s Apple event was the new iPad Pro which features a new design and features. Apple iPad Pro has an all-screen display with thin bezels and no Home button and supports Face ID and 1TB Storage.
The iPad Pro is Powered By The A12X Bionic Chip With an updated 8 core design. The lightning port is replaced with USB C supporting 5K display output and can charge your iPhone via USB-C to lightning cable.
There are a few audio updates as well, including an updated 4 speakers and also kills the headphone jack.
The New iPad Is Priced Starting At $799 for the 11-inch and $999 for the 12.9-inch going up-to $1899 for the 12.9-inch cellular 1TB version.
The new Apple Pencil:
Apple announced an updated version of its Pencil at this event today, and although it keeps much of the original specs of the older one, it still features some updates made specifically for the new iPad Pro. With the new iPad Pros switching to USB-C ports, Apple introduces inductive charging.
This also adds gesture controls, which let you tap the sides of the Pencil to switch tools in the Notes app, you can tap twice to switch your tool from a pencil to an eraser. The gesture controls are customizable, so you can map it to other functions in different drawing apps.
The second-generation Apple Pencil costs $129, which is $30 more than its predecessor but necessary for the iPad Pro.
