The Apple Store app and website are down ahead of tonights pre-orders for the new Apple Watch Series 4, and the iPhone Xs and Xs Max. Here’s everything you need to know on when it goes live in your timezone.
On Wednesday, Apple unveiled the redesigned Apple Watch Series 4, the new iPhone Xs, larger Xs Max, and the cheaper Xr, during its Apple Special Event held at The Steve Jobs Theater on its Apple Park campus.
Apple announced that pre-orders for the Series 4 Apple Watch and Xs and Xs Max will begin on Friday, September 14th and 12:01 PST. So, just a few moments ago, Apple shut down its Apple Store App and website to gear up for tonight’s pre-order event.
As shown in the image above, you can find all the timezones and countries that will be available to pre-order starting tonight (or relative to their location and time zone).
The 64GB iPhone Xs will run you $999, the 64GB Xs Max is $1099. iPhone Xs and Xs Max are available in the base configuration 64 GB, or also 256 GB and 512GB with Space Grey, Gold, or Silver.
The Apple Watch Series 4 is $399 for GPS and $499 for the GPS + Cellular. The Stainless Steel Apple Watch starts at $699, and the Hermès edition models range from $1,249 to $1,499.
Orders placed tonight will be delivered on Friday, September 21st, which will also be the official launch day for these devices.
Unfortunately, the iPhone Xr will not be available for pre-order until October 19th.
