It’s official. The much anticipated, and widely rumored Apple September Event finally has a date. Earlier today, Apple sent out invitations that say “Gather round,” “Please join us for an Apple special event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.” The event takes place on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 10:00 AM PST.

Earlier this afternoon, Apple sent out press invites for its annual fall iPhone event. This year, we expect Apple to release possibly the iPhone 9, iPhone XS, and XS Plus. We are also expected to see the new, larger, Apple Watch Series 4 makes its debut. Lastly, we believe that Apple will also unveil the redesigned iPad Pro. Unlikely though, Apple may wait until October for any Mac related products.

The invite features a bronze or gold-like circle that resembles the new Apple Park. The gold color may hint at the new color option in the upcoming iPhone. In regards to the round shape, it has left many on the internet wondering if it’s foreshadowing a product or just Apple Park. Apple did not give much in a way of clues or hints.

As always, expect coverage on of the iPhone-centric event as it happens here on Apple Summit. Until then, mark your calendars for September 12th, and we will see you then.
