Apple Launches New Free Keyboard Repair Program For MacBook Models

Following the consumers’ complain on the MacBook Butterfly Keyboard that they have experienced where keys will become unresponsive, so Apple responded the problem by launching a new MacBook and MacBook Pro free keyboard repair program.

The service covers the replacement of one or more keys or even the entire keyboard when the keys are not responsive and not acted in a normal manner. Yet, if a user has already done the repair, then he/she can request for refunds of the repair cost.

Today we launched a keyboard service program for our customers that covers a small percentage of keyboards in certain MacBook and MacBook Pro models which may exhibit one or more of the following behaviors: letters or characters that repeat unexpectedly or don’t appear when pressed or keys that feel “sticky” or aren’t responding in a consistent manner.

In case you don’t know, a user with MacBook 2015 & later models and MacBook Pro 2016 & later models are eligible for the program. They are welcome to visit an Apple retail store or an Authorized Service Provider to receive the keyboard repair service for free.
